Mole & Gopher Control

Mole & Gopher Control

We offer professional mole and gopher trapping, which is the most effective way to control these nuisance animals damaging your yards and turf. Moles are rarely seen, but they construct extensive underground passageways, with the Eastern Gray Mole found in Kansas and Oklahoma capable of tunneling up to 24 feet each hour. We use the finest mole traps in the professional industry to control and remove moles, which feed predominantly on earthworms and white grubs, rather than using poisons and pesticides. Unlike the pocket gopher, which constructs cone-shaped mounds of finely sifted soil, the mole leaves raised ridges or surface tunnels as evidence of its presence.

The Eastern Gray Mole has greatly enlarged, paddle-like forefeet with prominent toenails, and lacks external ears and prominent eyes, with fur that offers no resistance in either direction. Moles prefer moist, sandy loam soils and are predominantly insectivores, eating 70 to 80 percent of their weight daily, with earthworms making up nearly 80% of their diet. Moles construct shallow surface tunnels for warm months and deep tunnels for winter, pushing soil to the surface to create cone-shaped molehills when digging deep runs. The pocket gopher, a rodent with different feeding habits, does not construct raised ridges but digs two kinds of tunnels and creates many mounds of finely sifted soil.
